Healthy oats fruit cookies

These days everyone including myself is so health conscious that we end up eating muesli or oats for breakfast which is quite boring. For a while I was searching for some really nice healthy cookies that will not only tasty but also will fill you up and easy to eat them on the go. I couldn't find exact recipe but found few of them but I did not like all te ingredients in them so I went ahead and created my own. This is what I came up with. It's very quick to make.

1. 150 grams rolled oats - 570 calories
2. 150 grams museli - 519 calories
3. 2 tablespoon peanut butter - 264 calories
4. 3 medium banana puréed - 336 calories

This makes 24 cookies each about 70 calories each.

Mix all ingredients together and bake them till light brown at 180 degrees Celsius.

This tasted so good and quite healthy as it has no added sugar or butter in it.

I have replaced one banana with Apple puree or pear puree and it still tastes really good.

You can also add protien powder or replace peanut butter by it to get extra protien boost.

Hope you enjoy them as I will for sure!!

Diy jewellery organiser

As much as I love jewellery, I love if everything was organised and I don't have to go through my drawer to find the right one every morning to wear. Most times if I find the right one, it's either tangled with others or I will not find the matching set and it's such a chaos. I tried a lot of store bought organisers, even tried display boxes, none of it worked because I have a little too much.
So finally decided that I will do something about it myself, I have enough storage space in my walk in robe and have some wall space too. I have decided to organise using a peg board. I bought a peg board from local Bunnings and have cut to size

The plain peg board is really boring so want to give some colours to it. My bedroom has a colour theme of black, yellow, grey and white, so want to match the peg board too. Have decided on yellow, white and grey chevron. Have taped the peg board in zigzag, it took me more than an hour just to take it.

Now I jut alternated yellow and grey acrylic paint. Yellow was easy to paint.

But grey wasn't as it wasn't really sticking well so had to do 3 coates. I had to wait for it to try between each coat.

Now it's ready for me to take the asking tape off.

Now it's time to screw it to the wall. I attached a wooden piece at the back of the peg board and screwed it to the wall so that there is a gap between the wall and the board.

Now the fun part is to hang all my necklaces to it. I have so many that I am not sure where to begin.

I finally organised some necklaces.

Phew this took more time than actually painting this board. Still have so much to go but I think it will happen on a daily basis...

Burlap and lace jars

My friend asked me if I can make jar vases decorated in burlap and laces, I gave it a try and it turned out good. She loved it and so did the wedding guests. I made 8 jars which she had put on the her main table. I did not get a chance to take pictures

Ceramic Tile Coasters

I had lot of old tiles lying around which I wanted to do something with. I had lot of scrapbook papers too so decided to buy a mod podge and made these amazing coaters. Once I did one set, I couldnt stop and I ended up with quite a lot of them! These are perfect gift for any occassion and you always run out of them, they are really cheap and you can match it with your personal space. Check out my ETSY shop for more details.

I am back after a long time, just was busy doing so many things and I did not have time for writing. During the last 6 months I did lot of things. I started taking card making classes. I am now an independent Stampin' up! demonstrator, so have made a lot of cards over the last few months. I am also doing lot of knitting as winter is approaching.

I made this card for a collegues 40th birthday. She just loved it and so did everyone at work. Its a very easy to make this card. I also made custom sized envelope using my new envelop punch board. Now many people have started asking me to make cards for them, its so much fun.
