Burlap and lace jars

My friend asked me if I can make jar vases decorated in burlap and laces, I gave it a try and it turned out good. She loved it and so did the wedding guests. I made 8 jars which she had put on the her main table. I did not get a chance to take pictures

Ceramic Tile Coasters

I had lot of old tiles lying around which I wanted to do something with. I had lot of scrapbook papers too so decided to buy a mod podge and made these amazing coaters. Once I did one set, I couldnt stop and I ended up with quite a lot of them! These are perfect gift for any occassion and you always run out of them, they are really cheap and you can match it with your personal space. Check out my ETSY shop for more details.

I am back after a long time, just was busy doing so many things and I did not have time for writing. During the last 6 months I did lot of things. I started taking card making classes. I am now an independent Stampin' up! demonstrator, so have made a lot of cards over the last few months. I am also doing lot of knitting as winter is approaching.

I made this card for a collegues 40th birthday. She just loved it and so did everyone at work. Its a very easy to make this card. I also made custom sized envelope using my new envelop punch board. Now many people have started asking me to make cards for them, its so much fun.

Allergen free chocolate cake

I am so happy that I was able to make an allergen free vegan chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday. Everyone in the party enjoyed the cake. My daughter loves m&ms so to keep it simple I just used them for decorations. Its the same recipe I used for the cup cakes. I am quite happy with it.

Madhubani peacock

My friend gave me coloured pencil postcards set and I just wanted to use it. I decided to try Madhubani peacock on it and it came out pretty good. Because of the colour pencils, it isn't as bright as most Madhubani paintings are, but I do like the light affect on it.

stampin up cards

I met Belinda, independent stampin up demonstrator at the fund raising craft sale held at holy cross catholic school at Glenwood. I was quite impressed with the beautiful cards made by her. I spoke to her about stampin up products etc. She teaches making cards every month at her residence which was quite useful. I decided to go this month and I have to say that I was very happy with it. It was just 25 dollars per class and we get to make 6 cards and we can use all the her products. It was such a fun class. I cannot believe that these were just plain card stocks that turned into beautiful cards.
